Severe Thunderstorm Watch - 1255 PM EDT TUE JUN 12 2007
Here we go folks another shot for some storms. These could be nasty. Could actually get some hail. God I haven't seen hail in central MD for like 5-6years...Not too big hail though, Jess just got a new car. Keep an eye out everybody.

What a waste
Well that was unimpressive for me. The storms split right around Howard and Northern AA counties and we got nothing. A lot of nice lightning flashes, but nothing close by. Sigh...maybe next time.

First Scorch then Severely Electrocute
Wow it got hot today. According to weather bug in Columbia we made it up to 96 for the high. Pretty impressive, now we just got issued a severe thunderstorm watch until 11:00pm so watch out. Basically the storms are out in front of a cold front moving through tonight. There are some pretty impressive storms in WV and western PA moving to the east so we could get some major activity tonight. Keep a close eye out and be careful! Remember severe storms can contain hail, strong winds and lots of lightning. There will probably be a lot of that tonight. Check out Lightningstorm.com for a free map of the current strikes. Lots of them coming our way. Again be careful tonight.

It's getting hot Hot HOT!
Today will be one of those nasty summer days in Maryland.....to bad it's not officially summer yet. So remember to drink lots of fluids and stay by your air conditioner. We may get some storms tonight as a cold front tries to come through. The weekend will get progressively cooler as we go on, so Sunday should be great. Enjoy!

Alas no storms
Well that stunk. The storms built up over Hagerstown and Frederick, but then died as it got later in the night, and nothing but a little sprinkle came down on central MD. Better luck next time.

Friday Night Storms
It's about 7:00pm and there are some Thunderstorms around Maryland. Mainly to the north in PA, but some in Western Maryland. They appear to be moving very slowly to the east, we'll have to see if they hold together or not. Hopefully I can see a good light show tonight.

Weekend Stormage
Okay here we go. This weekend we might get some good Thunderstorms but it definitely will be of the hit or miss variety. We won't see the typical long solid lines of storms as when a cold front passes. These will just be the summer heat and instability type storms. Sunday night thru
Monday look to be the best bet, around 50% probability for those days. Weather will still be really warm still so remember to drink lots of fluids. Have a great first weekend of June.
